NaviMate Controller
A physical controller for your map app. No touchscreen required.
NaviMate is a compact hardware controller that mounts within reach of the driver and sends button presses directly to the map application running in the foreground of a connected phone. It's built for one purpose: letting a driver adjust navigation — recenter the map, view the route overview, and more — without taking their eyes off the road or their hands off the wheel.
NaviMate is currently in development. Details on availability, compatibility, and setup will be posted here as they're finalized.
How it works
NaviMate communicates with a companion app on the phone over USB. The companion app uses Android's Accessibility Service only to locate on-screen buttons in the map app and to receive input from the NaviMate hardware — it does not perform touches or gestures itself. All input comes from the physical controller. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
